Guangzhou to build an international health station in Zhongtan Town, Baiyun District. As China's first international health station with 5,000 rooms, it covers an area of about 250,000 square meters and provides 2,000 beds for logistic service personnel.
This international health station will be a smart isolation zone. Intelligent medical equipment will be installed in the health station, which can make more accurate judgments on diseases caused by COVID-19. For example, a CT machine developed based on artificial intelligence technology can realize unmanned CT scanning in the isolation area and will reduce the radiation damage to the human body. In addition, Pazhou Laboratory will provide technical support for the International Health Station to realize the unmanned process from the airport to the hotel. Intelligent medical testing, nursing care, and room service will also be implemented in the health station.
Currently, the International Health Station is under construction and will be put into use in September.
