The international intelligent warehouse in Nansha Comprehensive Bonded Zone, the first of its kind in the district, has started operating, local media outlets reported on July 7.

The intelligent warehouse in Nansha logistics park has a total floorage of around 5,000 square meters and 5,200 storage spots. It has been divided into three areas based on function, including turnover and storage, with each area capable of being operated separately.

The intelligent warehouse is expected to further increase the utilization rate of warehouse and the efficiency of warehousing and logistics turnover while effectively reducing the error rate and warehousing costs, marking a new starting point for Nansha logistic park in developing modern intelligent warehouses and logistics models.

Nansha logistics park has been devoted to transforming from a traditional warehouse operator to a provider of comprehensive logistics services over the past three years, during which the proportion of the park's business revenue in comprehensive logistics has climbed from 21 percent to 47 percent.
