The launch of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Ferry Line has shortened the time to travel between cities of the Pearl River East and West. According to Guangdong Navigation Group, it will continue to facilitate the ferry transport network connecting inner cities of the Greater Bay Area in the future.
With the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Ferry Line, Shenzhen Airport Ferry Terminal organizes routes to 5 cities of The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, namely Hong Kong (45 minutes to Hong Kong Airport), Macao (70 minutes), Guangzhou (35 minutes), Zhuhai (60 minutes) and Zhongshan (45 minutes).
Ferry lines to Hong Kong and Macao have been temporally suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
