International Finance Forum (IFF) is an independent, international organization, founded with support from Chinese government and financial institutions.

"The pandemic has brought severe damage to the global economy, and changes in the geopolitical and economic order have brought us unprecedented challenges. How should we face the new global order? What new opportunities and new directions are there? We urgently need a stable world financial system and international relations.”According to Shen Guofei, the deputy general manager of International Finance Forum (Guangzhou) company.

Accoriding to the press conference, this year's 17th IFF Global Annual Conference has three highlights. In addition, this forum will also be open to global audiences for the first time, providing audiences with opportunities to watch live broadcasts and participate in interaction.

And experts and scholars from well-known financial institutions including the Asian Development Bank, the New Development Bank of the BRICS, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the World Trade Organization, and the People's Bank of China.

Secondly, the annual meeting set up four themed summits and two roundtable discussions. Among them, the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Roundtable Conference" and "Nansha International Financial Island Development Strategy Seminar" will be held in Guangzhou.

The purpose is to discuss the development status of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the trend of future cooperation. The seminar will discuss and give suggestions on multiple topics such as the construction of the pilot free trade zone, business environment, financial cooperation in the Greater Bay Area, and the development of the Nansha International Financial Island.

The last point is worth mentioning that the "2020 Global Green Finance Innovation Award" will be launched for the first time this year. This award will commend innovative solutions for global green finance, in order to encourage international financial cooperation. The award ceremony will be held during the annual meeting.

As China's first financial island, Nansha International Financial Island will rely on the permanent venue of IFF to introduce important resources from the global financial industry, create a financial innovation and resource platform in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and create a world landmark urban space.
