Guangzhou Annual Investment Conference (GAIC) held overseas sessions for the first time in 2021.
The sessions place online between March 16 and 20.
It was the first time the GAIC had carried out overseas sessions in six cities from four continents. The six cities are Tel Aviv from Israel, Heidelberg from Germany, Silicon Valley and Boston from the US, Singapore, and Auckland from New Zealand.
The sessions covered fields including biomedicine, Artificial Intelligence, and other emerging industries, aimed at attracting more foreign investors and promoting Guangzhou’s business environment.
