Six neighborhoods in Guangzhou, which had been closed earlier over epidemic concerns, will be lifted from lockdown today (June 16), according to Chen Bin, deputy director of the city's health commission.
These blocks include two in Yuexiu district, one in Panyu and three in Haizhu.

Furthermore, one area in Haizhu—Nos. 20 and 22 of Xiaoyang Street, Changgang Sub-district (昌岗街道晓阳街(20、22号))—is now downgraded to a low-risk area for COVID-19 transmission.
