Guangzhou reported one more local asymptomatic case, who lives on Qifu Road, Yuncheng Street, Baiyun District, and works in Tokai Hotel (Donghai Mansion) in Yuexiu District. On September 4, as a close contact of the asymptomatic case in the hotel, the individual received centralized isolation for medical observation. On September 5, the case tested positive during isolation and then was transferred to Guangzhou Eighth People's Hospital for isolation treatment. After further examination and expert consultation, the individual was diagnosed as an asymptomatic case.

Yuexiu District: Tokai Hotel, Ocean Hotel
At present, all the close contacts of the case have been identified and received centralized isolation. Related venues have been disinfected.
More updates on COVID-19 cases in Guangdong on September 5
From 0:00 to 24:00 on September 5, Guangdong reported 7 imported cases, among which 4 cases were reported by Guangzhou, arriving from Myanmar, the Philippines, Malaysia and Morocco. Foshan reported 3 cases, arriving from Sri Lanka, South Sudan and Gabon.
11 new imported asymptomatic cases were reported, with 7 cases reported by Guangzhou, 3 by Shenzhen and 1 by Foshan. Among Guangzhou's cases, 2 came from Indonesia, the remaining 5 came from Myanmar, Bahrain, UAE, Djibouti and Cameroon respectively. Among Shenzhen's cases, 2 were from Kenya and 1 was from Indonesia; Foshan's case was from Gabon; In addition, 9 new patients have been discharged from hospitals.
