According to Guangzhou Metro, all metro lines will extend their services by 1 hour on September 30, October 1, and October 5 to October 7 for the upcoming National Day Holiday.
September 30:
It is estimated that the evening peak hours of Line 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 14, 21, Northern Extension of Line 3 and Guangzhou-Foshan Line will begin before 13:00.
The express lines of Line 14 will be switched to regular lines from 12:00 to 20:30 to improve the peak capacity. Meanwhile, another 30 trains will stand by for flexible use.
October 1:
The peak hours of Line 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 14, 21 and Guangzhou-Foshan Line will start before 10:00, while the peak hours of Line 3, Northern Extension of Line 3, and APM lines will begin before 13:00.
From 10:00 to 20:30, express lines of Line 14 will be switched to regular lines.
October 6:
From 17:30 to 22:30, the super peak hours will be added on Line 7 to control the return passenger flow from Guangzhou South Railway Station.
October 7:
From 12:00 to 20:30, express lines of Line 14 will be switched to regular lines.
From 17:30 to 22:30, the super peak hours will be added on Line 7.
From September 30 to October 7, Guangzhou Tower station of Tram Haizhu Line will stop operation at 19:00 (the actual notice of station shall prevail), and other stations will maintain normal operation.
During the National Day Holiday, Guangzhou Metro will increase the number of service personnel and volunteers at key stations. It will provide passengers with medical kits, umbrellas and disposable raincoats in case of emergency.
