The tram in Haizhu District has been increased to every 5 minutes

From March 18th, the Haizhu test section of the tram will use a new train schedule, which can shorten the waiting time during the morning rush hours on working days. After that,it is expected that during the morning rush hour (7:40-10:10) on weekdays, the train interval from Guangzhou Tower Station to Nanfeng Station will be shortened to 5 minutes. It’s going to be more convenient for citizens to go to Pazhou West District, Zhujiang River Party and other places to work from Guangzhou Tower Station.

Guangzhou Tram will also cooperate with Gaode Maps to simultaneously transmit train locational information on the Internet. This means that passengers can obtain real-time position of trains through Gaode maps. At the same time, the tram will announce the train departure time during the morning rush hour on the information screen of the station and the official WeChat account of the Guangzhou tram.
