A 2021 Convention on Exchange of Overseas Talents will be jointly held with the 23rd Guangzhou Convention of Overseas Chinese Scholars in Science and Technology (OCS) in Guangzhou in December, according to its official website. The conference is opening applications for all overseas talents and foreign students who come to China to work and start businesses from September 3 to November 30.
Themed “Talent, Innovation, and Win-Win”, the 2021 OCS adopted the form of “main venue + branch venue + online venue” to cope with changing international situation and relevant requirements of normalized pandemic control. The main venue will provide overseas talents an interactive platform to contact and communicate with mainland companies and other institutions. Talent recruitment activities will be held during the conference.
How to sign up?
1.Enter the official website (http://ocs-gz.org.cn/) and register.
2.Enter the personal center in the upper right corner of the page, click Talent Information (人才资料) to fill in all blanks, then submit it for review.
Note: Attachments mainly include identification materials (passport or ID card), degree certificates, overseas work experience, startup experience and other related material.
3.After the personal information and attachments are approved, click Conference Sign Up (大会报名), fill in the participant information and submit it.
4. Receiving the invitation letter: Overseas applicants who have passed the review of their personal information and completed the Conference Sign Up, please check the registered email and download the invitation letter.
The conference is organized by the Ministry of Education, Guangzhou Municipal People’s Government, and Western Returned Scholars Association (Overseas-Educated Scholars Association of China).
