From March 11, Guangzhou has suspended all exhibition activities due to the complicated and severe epidemic situation, according to Guangzhou Municipal Commerce Bureau.
Several performances also have been postponed or canceled, and some cultural venues have been temporarily closed to the public.
Guangdong Arts Theatre
The children's musical "Ice-Snow Dream of Bing Dwen Dwen and Shuey Rhon Rhon", which was scheduled for March 12 and 13 at the Guangdong Arts Theatre, was canceled. Those who have already purchased tickets will get refund.
Guangzhou Opera House
According to the Guangzhou Opera House, two dramas “The Cat” and “Guess How Much I Love You” will be postponed to April 7 and July 3, and "Before Daybreak · Chapter One" was postponed until further notice. The piano recital presented by Olga Samosuyeva will be postponed to May 1.
The tickets sold before are still valid for the postponed performances. Audiences can watch the shows on the re-scheduled dates with the original tickets without replacement. Refund is also available through the original purchase channel.
Guangzhou Cantonese Opera Theatre
Three Cantonese shows which were originally played at Guangzhou Jiangnan Theater on March 16, 17 and 18 were postponed until further notice.
Guangzhou Children's Palace
All classes and offline activities at Guangzhou Children's Palace will be suspended from March 11 until further notice.
