Shima Peach Blossom Park is the first park themed with peach blossom in Guangzhou, its scale of construction is 149,090 square meters.

The park is designed to be a multi-functional park integrating entertainment, sightseeing, doing exercises, holding events and exhibition all in one. It is aimed to be a comprehensive district-level park that cover the largest area of its kind in Baiyun District. The theme of "Care for people, respect for nature" and "The charm of the culture of Pearl River, the beauty of peach blossoms" runs throughout the design of the garden. For example, the local pond is maintained as a major scenic spot and is decorated with the Shuiqu Bridge to add its flavor.

The park is divided into a Square with passageway,s, an exhibition area, Old people program zone, children program zone, recreational zone, natural scenic spot zone. The major scenic spots in the park are: Chen Canyun (a famous writer) memorial hall, peach blossom tower, the wooden plank road, the teahouse, the waterfall-side corridor, peach flower creek, etc. In early spring, many citizens and tourists head for Shima to appreciate or buy peach flowers.
