Nankun Mountain National Forest Park boasts a spectacular landscape featuring roaring waterfalls, winding streams, strangely-shaped pine trees, bizarre rocks and tranquil lakes. Tourists can have a taste of delicious farm food, relax themselves in natural hot spring and refresh their minds and bodies.

Regarded as the "oasis in the Tropic of Cancer", Nankun Mountain is a natural oxygen bar, with endless mountain ranges, lush trees and mind-refreshing air. Along the mountainous paths, everywhere you look, there is always a blanket of green that appeals to your eyes. Immersed in the ecological surroundings of mind-numbing beauty, you will have a sense of what a delightful vacation really is. The awe-invoking craftsmanship of nature gives rise to the bizarre hills and rocks of Nankun Mountain. You will be exposed to a number of magnificent natural wonders, such as the rock-river landscape, the thundering Chuanlong Waterfall like none other, the tranquil Guanyin (meaning the Goddess of Mercy) Lake, the exquisite Qixian (meaning seven immortals) Lake and the mythical Tiantang (meaning paradise) Peak that stands 1,228 meters above sea level. Its primitive forest, which covers 240,000 mu (One mu equals 667 square meters) is a natural habitat for countless precious animal and plant species.

In addition, you are highly advised to have a taste of the local delicacies – the farm food of Nankun Mountain. There are two food streets in the mountain where you can taste Huxu (literally meaning beard) chicken, Zoudi chicken, Guanyin vegetable, Hongbei (literally meaning "red back") vegetables, Shankeng fish (fish that swim in mountain ponds), toufu and mountain oxetone.

※ Transportation: Depart from Guangzhou, drive for about 90 kilometers and you will reach Nankun Mountain. If you pass Zengcheng and Paitan Town, you will enter the mountainous region from the west side. If you pass Zengcheng, Zhengguo and Yonghe, then you will enter the region from the east side.

※ Accommodation: For tourists who like to have a hot-spring bath, staying in Hot-Spring Grand Park is a good option. The mineral mud bath is the specialty of the hotel, which is worth a try.

※ Food: Guangyin vegetable, Huxu Chicken, Zoudi Chicken with black mushroom, winter bamboo shoots, grilled chicken, Shankeng fish (fish that swim in mountain ponds), mountain oxetone, toufu and Hakka sweet wine.
