The hot spring water gushes from the bottom of the Liuxihe River, with tens of mouths of spring scattered along the banks of the Liuxihe River. The hot spring has been discovered and in use since Ming (1368--1644) and Qing (1616--1911) Dynasties, famous for its quality water, high temperature and unique scenery. It is a sodium bicarbonate type hot spring rich in fluoride, weak radioactive radon and other healthy elements such as sodium, calcium, potassium, magnesium and silica, making it attached with tremendous health care value. In particular, the Bishuiwan Hot Spring is the sole soda hot spring containing radon excluding the Switzerland Hot Spring.
