Hot Spring
Located in the northwest of Conghua City, 75 kilometers away from Guangzhou, Conghua Hot Spring, also known as Liuxihe Hot Spring, is the celebrated scenic spot and health resort in Guangdong, which is surrounded by overlapping mountains and featured with accommodating weather and tranquil environment. Like world famous Switzerland Hot Spring in Europe, it is also the one of the two hot springs existing in the world that is soda-type hot springs containing radon. In 2009, Conghua Hot Spring was awarded China's First Soda Hot Spring Containing Radon by China World Records Association.

The hot spring water gushes from the bottom of the Liuxihe River, with tens of mouths of spring scattered along the banks of the Liuxihe River. The hot spring has been discovered and in use since Ming (1368--1644) and Qing (1616--1911) Dynasties, famous for its quality water, high temperature and unique scenery. It is a sodium bicarbonate type hot spring rich in fluoride, weak radioactive radon and other healthy elements such as sodium, calcium, potassium, magnesium and silica, making it attached with tremendous health care value. In particular, the Bishuiwan Hot Spring is the sole soda hot spring containing radon excluding the Switzerland Hot Spring.

Conghua Hot Spring is of great benefit to human health: regulate the excitation and inhabitation of the central nervous system; promote hemangiectasis and a steady drop in blood pressure; encourage skin cell metabolism and enhance the immune system. Besides, it also functions in treating arthritis, hypertension, neurasthenia and chronic gastroenteritis by means of showering or drinking the hot spring water. Therefore, it witnesses numerous patients visiting here for therapy each year. Its quality water, high temperature and unique scenery earn itself the title "First Hot Spring in Lingnan". Recently, it has won itself the title "World Rare Hot Spring".
