Zhujiang-InBev International Beer Museum, established by Zhujiang Brewery Group, was built and opened on May 17, 2009. The museum displays the four stages of beer production including the origin, natural development, industrialised production and modernized production with the thread of history of beer development, which comprehensively shows the long history of beer development in the world and the rich beer culture.

Zhujiang Party Beer Culture Creative Arts District is constructed and based on the Zhujiang-InBev International Beer Museum, adding Beer Culture Square on the top of Modiesha Tunnel and the Beer Street in riverside area. The former dock was reconstructed to a sightseeing dock in which visitors can enjoy a daytime or night cruise along the Pearl River. Riverside Beer Street and Riverside Pedestrian Street are built to create a public space for ecological tourism and leisure in the city.

In the district, there is a  beer theme park, art corridor, private gallery, art exhibition hall, luxuries exhibition hall and elements with European continent flavor such as beer experience area, wine art gallery, cigar taste area, catering area as well as the dock for yachts of Pearl River Cruise to stay.

Beer Museum, Beer Cultural Square and Riverside Beer Street, have not only become a good place for the city residents to learn the history and culture of beer, but also an important venure for grand ceremonies and activities as well as sightseeing and leisure. The ultimate goal is to build it into the largest beer culture and leisure center in South China.

The district faces Zhangjiang New Town and Haixinsha Asian Games Venue across the river and is near the important financial and political centers in Guangzhou such as Guangzhou New Landmark, Chigang Consulate, Pazhou International Convention & Exhibition Center. The reconstruction project has been added to the overall economic planning of Guangzhou ("Zhujiang New Town-Yuancun-Pazhou" CBD Central Commercial Area), as one of the most important initial projects supported by both the municipal and district governments.
