The following items are forbidden for entry in accordance with the Provisions of the Customs Law of the People's Republic of China:
1)      Various weapons, imitation weapons, ammunition, and explosives;
2)      Counterfeit money and forged securities;
3)      Printed matter, negatives, records, films, audio and video recordings, laser optical video-discs, computer storage media and other articles containing materials deemed harmful to China politically, economically, culturally, or ethically;
4)      Deadly poisons;
5)      Opium, morphia, heroin, marijuana, and other addictive narcotic and mental drugs;
6)      Dangerous bacteria, harmful insects, and other harmful animals, plants, and their products;
7)      Foods, drugs, and other articles which come from epidemic-stricken areas and may be harmful to and spread diseases to human beings and domestic animals.
