Guo Yonghang, Party chief of Guangzhou, led a delegation on a visit to Canada, the United States, and Fiji from Oct 19 to 29.

The trip, themed "Journey of Friendship, Journey of Green Initiatives, and Journey of Collaboration," aimed to enhance both economic and cultural ties.

During the Canadian leg of the visit, Guo met with various government and business leaders, and engaged in comprehensive dialogues with the Guangzhou-Vancouver Friendship Association.

In the United States, he took part in the 42nd-anniversary celebration of friendship between Guangzhou and Los Angeles and witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Guangzhou Port Authority and the Port of Los Angeles. Additionally, he had in-depth interactions with local Chinese entrepreneurs.

In Fiji, Guo discussed potential collaboration in various sectors with high-level Fijian leaders and made charitable donations to the local Chinese community.

This fruitful visit is expected to further solidify Guangzhou's relationships with the aforementioned countries.
