Monday marked the opening of the 135th Canton Fair in South China's trade hub, Guangzhou. 

The fair serves not only as a bustling trade event for exhibitors and buyers, but also as a major source of customer traffic for numerous retail, dining, accommodation, and tourism businesses. While it fosters bustling activity, does it also drive substantial economic gains?
