During the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday from September 15 to 17, Guangzhou was among China's top 10 most popular destinations, seeing nearly 6.29 million tourist visits, including 3.73 million visits made by tourists out of Guangzhou, with a total consumption of 4.53 billion yuan on cultural tourism.
