The fourth phase of the project will expand the exhibition area, covering four functional areas, namely the exhibition hall, the newly added conference center, the command center, as well as the registration hall.

Upon completion, it will integrate the exhibition museum, conference room, multi-function hall, exhibition area, as well as catering service functions, while the total area of the exhibition hall increase by more than 40 percent, and nearly 6,000 booths will be added.

After the Canton Fair Complex is put into use, it will become the world's largest exhibition complex that can host a wide range of exhibition activities. It is expected to be a new benchmark for global international convention and exhibition centers.

The main structure of Huangsha New Aquatic Market has been capped, which is expected to be a popular place to buy seafood in Guangzhou when it is completed. Located in the southwest section of the Ring Expressway in Liwan district, the market has a total construction area of nearly 190,000 sqm. Featuring a total investment of about 2.7 billion yuan ($380 million), it will hold more than 500 aquatic products booths and over 1,100 indoor parking spaces.

The market will have five functional areas, including a live aquatic products trading area, an aquatic product logistics distribution area, an e-commerce and office area, a chilled cold storage area, as well as a parking area.

The market is independently invested in and constructed by Guangzhou Port Group, with construction starting in November 2020. The project has seven floors above ground and two floors underground. It will soon begin to carry out decoration and equipment installation work, with the project scheduled to be completed in the second half of 2023.

After completion, merchants at the present Huangsha Aquatic Market merchants will move to the new market.
