COVID-19 control and prevention is a shared responsibility and each of us has a role to play. To enhance COVID-19 response efforts, Baiyun District will conduct a district-wide COVID-19 testing on all residents on April 28 in line with the COVID-19 control and prevention arrangements of Guangzhou Municipal Government. Information on the testing sites is attached at the end of the notification. We hereby notify you of the details as follows:
1.Testing scope:All residents in Baiyun District (including local permanent residents, temporary residents, transients, foreign nationals, etc.).
2. To avoid large crowds and long queuing time, please follow the instructions of the village (community) committee staff and arrive at the designated testing site according to the set schedule in an orderly manner. This testing is universal and should cover every household member.
3. Please wear a mask, bring your mobile phone, and get your Guangdong COVID-19 Testing (Yuehesuan) QR code ready for a faster on-site verification process. Senior residents and children who do not have a smartphone may get a QR code on their family members’ devices.
4. If you have a yellow health code or have received a text message from CDC, please go to a nearby testing site for yellow code holders.
5. Please follow social distancing of one meter. Stay in queues and do not gather. Please follow the staff’s instructions while you enter and exit the testing site.
6. If you have taken a COVID-19 vaccination shot within the past 48 hours, please do not take the test until the 48 hours have elapsed. Please, report this information to your community staff.
7. Please refrain from traveling or attending group activities before the test results are disclosed. If you have a fever or other symptoms, please visit a nearby fever clinic immediately.
To protect yourself and others from COVID-19, please cooperate with us in the testing. Failure to participate in testing will bring considerable inconvenience to life. You will be held legally liable if any serious consequences are caused.
