Notification of New Lockdown, Partial Lockdown and Restricted Zones in Huadu District (No. 48)

Given the current epidemic situation, new lockdown, partial lockdown and restricted zones in Xinya Subdistrict and Huadong Town have been designated as follows:

Ⅰ. New changes to the lockdown, partial lockdown and restricted zones:

(1) Jiuyi Village, Huadong Town

Lockdown zones: No.9 Mi’ao 4th Lane, No.7 Mi’ao 6th Lane, Jiuyi Village.

Partial lockdown zones: Mi’ao 1st Lane to 8th Lane, 15th Lane, 16th Lane, Jiuyi Village (excluding the lockdown zones).

Restricted zones: 3rd Community and 4th Community, Jiuyi Village; Yidui 23rd Lane to 28th Lane, Sanfeng Village (excluding the lockdown and partial lockdown zones).

(2) Guangtang Village, Xinya Subdistrict

Lockdown zones: The area encircled by Baishantang Southbound Avenue in the north, Gaoyu Changlong Department Store in the south, the building housing Shaxian Snacks in the west, and 106 national highway in the east; No.6 11th Lane, west of Baishantang Ring Road.

Partial lockdown zones: The area located to the west of Baishantang National Highway, Baishantang Market, Baishantang Dakengkou area (excluding the lockdown zones).

Restricted zones: The area encircled by Yayao East Road (Kongtie Avenue) in the north, Dakengkou 1st Street in the south, Fenghe Wayao 1st Road in the west, and 106 national highway in the east (excluding the lockdown and partial lockdown zones).

Ⅱ. Management Measures

(1) The lockdown zones shall be completely locked down. All residents are under “name-list” management and mandatory home quarantine. Necessary services and goods will be delivered to their doorsteps to guarantee their basic living necessities. All business and trade facilities, entertainment venues, restaurants, stores, gyms and cultural activity centers in the lockdown zones shall be temporarily closed.  

(2) In the partial lockdown zones, residents shall not leave the zones or gather together. Deliveries must be collected on a staggered schedule and the following measures are to be adopted:

1. All catering service providers in the partial lockdown zones shall suspend operations. A certain number of supermarkets and farmers' markets with good ventilation conditions will be kept open on the premise that their employees do not leave the partial lockdown zones and keep their masks properly on while working. All types of events including large-scale conferences, trainings, shows, exhibitions, promotions and other mass activities such as park tours, folk customs events and square dancing shall be strictly restricted.


2. Effective measures shall be taken to control people’s movement within the partial lockdown zones. Residents shall not leave the partial lockdown zones and deliveries must be collected on a staggered schedule. Residents are only allowed to travel during designated hours with their Travel Pass to ensure that activities such as shopping, package collection and PCR testing take place on a staggered schedule.

(3) In the restricted zones, social activities and gatherings will be restricted and the following measures are to be adopted:

1. Residents should practice good personal protection and avoid leaving their homes as much as possible. Gatherings and social activities shall be strictly restricted.

2. Supermarkets and farmers’ markets should maintain good ventilation, restrict the number of entrants and encourage non-cash payment. The number of diners and opening hours of restaurants and public canteens shall be restricted. Dine-in services shall be suspended while food takeout service is available.

3. One PCR test shall be conducted on all residents in the restricted zones within 24 hours. Subsequent tests will be decided according to the needs afterwards.

The above measures will be implemented from the issue date of this notification and will be dynamically adjusted.
