The 20th China International SME Fair (CISMEF) is set to take place at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou from June 27 to 30, 2025, coinciding with the 9th United Nations Micro-, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Day.
Small and medium-sized enterprises from over 40 countries and regions, as well as international organizations, including Egypt, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the United States, Canada, Germany, Singapore, Japan, and South Korea, will participate in the international exhibition zone.
With an exhibition area of approximately 80,000 square meters, the fair will encompass thematic exhibitions, specialized exhibitions, supporting events, and an online CISMEF platform.
The thematic exhibitions will feature an international exhibition zone (including a guest-of-honor pavilion and exhibition areas for other countries and regions), a Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan exhibition zone, and a specialized exhibition zone for provincial and municipal sophisticated enterprises.
Egypt has been designated as the guest of honor for the 20th CISMEF. Several ministerial-level officials from Egypt, UNIDO, and other countries and international organizations will attend the event.
The Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan exhibition zone will showcase the advantageous industries, high-quality enterprises, distinctive products, and services from these regions.
The specialized exhibition zone for provincial and municipal enterprises will focus on displaying the latest products and services. It will also highlight the development achievements of national-level manufacturing innovation centers and characteristic industrial clusters for SMEs.
The specialized exhibitions will concentrate on fields that represent the high-quality development achievements or lead the development trends of SMEs, such as digital transformation, industrial design, smart wearables, and time-honored industries. There will be specialized exhibitions on manufacturing digital transformation, industrial design, smart wearables and modern watches, as well as time-honored enterprises.
Concurrently, a series of events for the 2025 "United Nations Micro-, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Day" will be held, along with supporting activities in categories such as policy promotion, new product launches, international cooperation, industry matching, and innovation empowerment.
The online CISMEF platform will establish online thematic and specialized exhibition zones in conjunction with the offline physical exhibitions, continuously facilitating online supply-demand matching for SMEs.
During the CISMEF, a series of new product launch events will be organized. "Little giant" enterprises will be invited to submit new technologies, products, and equipment that are being launched or exhibited for the first time. A series of activities, including live-streaming of new product launches, a media exchange meeting for selected live-streamed new products, and an exchange event for the first-launch economy industrial chain, will also be held.
