China Southern Airlines is expanding its international and regional flight network this summer, launching new routes and increasing frequencies on existing ones.
Beginning June 16, a new direct flight from Beijing Daxing to Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, will operate twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The outbound flight (CZ6051) departs at 17:00, arriving in Dushanbe at 21:00, while the return leg (CZ6052) leaves at 22:30, landing in Beijing the following morning at 07:20. Flights will primarily use Boeing 737-8 aircraft, with the inaugural service operated by a B787.
On June 25, the airline will inaugurate a Guangzhou-Almaty route, offering three round trips per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Outbound flights will depart in the mid-afternoon or early evening, and return overnight, landing in Guangzhou the next morning.
From June 30, the airline will open a Guangzhou-Tashkent service, flying three times weekly on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays. Operated with wide-body Boeing 787-800 aircraft, flights will leave Guangzhou at 19:35 and arrive in the Uzbek capital at 23:50. The return flight departs shortly after midnight, reaching Guangzhou at 10:55.
A fourth new route will launch on July 1, connecting Harbin with Vladivostok with two round trips weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Flights, operated with Airbus A320 aircraft, will complete the journey in under 90 minutes.
In addition to launching new routes, China Southern Airlines is enhancing capacity on several high-demand international routes across Central Asia, Oceania, Africa, and Southeast Asia:
Urumqi-Tbilisi (Georgia): Increased from 4 to 7 weekly round trips (from June 1)
Urumqi-Yerevan (Armenia): Increased from 2 to 3 weekly round trips (from June 11)
Guangzhou-Brisbane (Australia): Increased from 5 to 7 weekly round trips (from June 12)
Urumqi-Baku (Azerbaijan): Increased from 3 to 5 weekly round trips (from July 1)
Guangzhou-Phuket (Thailand): Increased from 1 to 2 daily round trips (14 per week) (from July 11)

With these additions, China Southern will operate 150 international and regional routes this summer, offering around 2,000 weekly flights. The move comes as outbound travel demand rebounds.
