Documentary films screened to mark CPC's 100th founding anniversary in GZ's Haizhu

On April 16th, a screening of documentary films kicked off at DOC. Park in Guangzhou's Haizhu District to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

The screening features The 100 Years of the Chinese Communist Party as the opening film, in which 100 important events in the course of China's revolution, construction, reform and rejuvenation are selected to show the glorious history and marvelous achievements of the century-old Party.

The event will last until September. In addition to the opening film, a series of outstanding documentary films with special themes such as The Long March; The Commitment; We Walk on the Great Road; China's Diplomacy and The Forever Soul of the PLA will be screened during this period.

Meanwhile, Haizhu District will also launch a number of public forums at the DOC. Park, inviting documentary directors, screenwriters and experts from the film and television industry to discuss in depth with the audience s about the heritage of the revolutionary culture of the CPC.

What's more, Guangzhou Film Association and Macau Motion Picture Industry Association will hold a signing ceremony for Guangzhou-Macao cultural echange and cooperation in film and television. During the event, the Guangzhou-Macao Film and Television Cultural Exchange Center was officially founded in the DOC. Park, which marks a new achievement of cooperation between Guangzhou’s Haizhu and Macao.
