From March 2nd to March 9th, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) announced the suspension of 4 more international flights to Guangzhou.

Seven passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight KQ880 from Nairobi, Kenya arriving in Guangzhou, China on February 19th, which led to a two-week suspension for the flight, starting fromMarch 14th, 2022.
Five passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight MH376 from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia arriving in Guangzhou, China on February 21st, which led to a two-week suspension for the flight, also starting fromMarch 14th, 2022.
Ten passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight KU419 from Kuwait arriving in Guangzhou, China on February 25th, which led to a four-week suspension for the flight, starting from March 14th, 2022.
Ten passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight KU419 from Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam arriving in Guangzhou, China on February 27th, which led to a four-week suspension for the flight, starting fromMarch 14th, 2022.

Quota for these above-mentioned flights shall not be used for other routes. CAAC also requires those airlines to provide services, such as passenger comfort, ticket refunds and changes on subsequent flights, in line with the requirement of local embassies or consulates.
