On July 5, China Southern Airlines resumed its Guangzhou-Moscow route as flight CZ655 took off from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport with over 270 passengers on board. It marks the resumption of its first international route since the beginning of the summer rush.
Operated by an Airbus A350, the route is scheduled every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The passenger load factor of the first resumed flight reached 90 percent.
“I am so happy to see the resumption of China Southern’s direct flights to Moscow, which offers convenience and more choices to us migrant workers commuting between China and Russia,” said Mr. Chen, a passenger on flight CZ655.
According to the Airlines’ ground staff, five check-in counters were opened to provide outbound passengers with traveling guidance.
