The Nansha District of Guangzhou released eight measures to stabilize the economy on February 6. These measures cover various aspects, including encouraging industrial enterprises to expand production, promoting enterprise investment, encouraging the development of commercial and trade enterprises, supporting enterprise upgrades and transformations, promoting the expansion and efficiency of for-profit services, encouraging consumption promotion activities, expanding cultural and tourism consumption, and increasing export credit insurance support.
For the first time, the measures include support for for-profit services. Enterprises in fields such as Internet services, business services, science and technology services, entertainment, and residential services will be eligible for rewards of up to 100,000 yuan.
With the Spring Festival approaching, the measures also provide bonuses for enterprises operating during the holiday. Workers employed by enterprises with a total industrial output value of more than 100 million yuan in the first quarter of 2024 will receive a subsidy of 150 yuan per day from February 10 to 17.
Business circle operators who carry out activities to promote consumption during the holidays will be eligible for rewards of up to 500,000 yuan, while travel agencies in the area organizing tour groups to local tourist attractions will be eligible for rewards of up to 200,000 yuan.
