Starting from April 22, China Southern Airlines will launch a direct flight route from Guangzhou, South China’s Guangdong province, to Doha, the capital of Qatar, providing more choices for passengers of the two countries.
The flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, departing from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 7:20 p.m. (Beijing time) and arriving at Hamad International Airport at 10:50 p.m. (local time).
And return flights will depart on every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 1:15 a.m. from Doha and land in Guangzhou at 1:40 p.m..
Han Wensheng, general manager of China Southern Airlines, said that this new route will help strengthen the connection between China and the countries and regions along the Belt and Road, promoting communication between China and Qatar in areas such as trade, travel, and culture.
