This year's Cherry Blossom Festival of Baomo Garden kicks off in Guangzhou's Panyu District on March 9 and will last until April.
During the festival, visitors can enjoy the stunning cherry blossoms, exciting cultural performances, Hanfu parades, ancient-style bazaars, traditional games, as well as delicious food.
The Baomo Garden and its adjacent sister garden Nanyue Yuan are currently adorned with the magnificent sight of cherry blossoms in full bloom as spring approaches. The Garden is one of the top ten most popular flower viewing destinations in the country, according to data released by Chinese leading online travel agency Ctrip.
How to get there: Take Guangzhou Metro Line 3, get off at Shiqiao Station (市桥站), use Exit B, then transfer to Panyu Bus No. 67, and get off at Baomo Garden Terminal Station (宝墨园总站).
