After 33 months of construction, the Zhanjiang Bay undersea tunnel of the Guangzhou-Zhanjiang high-speed railway in Zhanjiang City, South China's Guangdong Province, was drilled through Friday (Mar 15) morning. The 9,640-meter tunnel is a key part of the line, and the shield drilled part of the tunnel is 7,551 meters long.
