Centering around the theme "Investing in Guangzhou is Investing in the Future," the Conference was held from April 8 to 9 at the Canton Fair Convention Center, serving as a warm-up activity for the upcoming 135th session of Canton Fair, which is scheduled to be held on April 15.

The Conference gave a comprehensive introduction to Guangzhou's quality business environment and socio-economic development achievements, sending a positive signal to global businesses that the city's economy enjoys sound growth momentum.

Meanwhile, an exhibition of the past ten years’ achievements in investment promotion of Guangzhou was also held, celebrating a decade of glory. As of April this year, there are more than 3.4 million market entities, over 40,000 foreign-funded enterprises, and 345 Fortune Global 500 companies investing in Guangzhou.

During the Conference, the second group of Invest Guangzhou Global Partners was also announced, including EY, KPMG, Cushman & Wakefield, Forbes China, Standard Chartered Bank, and so on.

"We hope that we can help bring in more high-tech resources to China and to Guangzhou through our global platforms.
