Over 100 consumption activities were carried out during the 11th Guangzhou International Shopping Festival. The festival ran from Dec 28, 2022 to Jan 26 at its main venue: the Tianhe Road Business Circle. This helped to stimulate consumption.

During the three-day New Year holiday from Dec 31, 2022 to Jan 2, the passenger flow at the Tianhe Road Business Circle totaled 3.8 million, which is an increase of 173.7 percent from the same period last month (Nov 30 to Dec 2, 2022). Sales at key stores rose about 20 percent month-to-month.
Over 11.89 million people visited the Tianhe Road Business Circle during the seven-day Spring Festival holiday from Jan 21 to 27, indicating an increase of 21 percent when compared to the New Year’s holiday. Sales at key stores also achieved a double-digit growth.
