The tram in Haizhu District has been increased to every 5 minutes
From March 18th, the Haizhu test section of the tram will use a new train schedule, which can shorten the waiting time during the morning rush hours on working days. After that,it is expected that during the morning rush hour (7:40-10:10) on weekdays,the train interval from Guangzhou Tower Station to Nanfeng Station will be shortened to 5 minutes.It’s going to be more convenient for citizens to go to Pazhou West District, Zhujiang River Party and other places to work from Guangzhou Tower Station.
Guangzhou Tram will also cooperate with Gaode Maps to simultaneously transmit train locational information on the Internet. This means that passengers can obtain real-time position of trains through Gaode maps. At the same time, the tram will announce the train departure time during the morning rush hour on the information screen of the station and the official WeChat account of the Guangzhou tram.
More convenience! Baiyun Mountain opens its first special line for weekends and holidays
On March 13, the first direct line from the West Gate of Baiyun Mountain to Baiyun Cultural Square Metro Station was officially opened on weekends and holidays. With a total length of 2.6km. It only takes 9 minutes for passengers to reach Baiyun Mountain by this special line.
The west gate of Baiyun Mountain is one of the main entrances and exits of Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area.This special line is a direct line from Baiyun Mountain West Gate to Baiyun Cultural Square Metro Station (Exit B).
The operating time of the dedicated line is 7:00-21:00 on weekends and holidays, and the fare is 2 yuan (not enjoying the Yangchengtong discount). The departure time of the dedicated line is about 5-10 minutes.
At present, the dedicated line is still in trial operation. In the future, the route, time, and frequency will be adjusted according to the travel needs of tourists.

Vehicles entering Baiyun Mountain will be restricted
According to the notice of the Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area,starting from 6 am on March 19, 2021, vehicles will be restricted from entering the Baiyun Mountain due to the construction Project.Restricted vehicles do not include work vehicles, emergency vehicles and construction vehicles in scenic spots. The time for the resumption of traffic will be announced separately.
