The 136th Canton Fair will take place from October 15th to November 4th. Recently, the Guangzhou Municipal Commerce Bureau reported that the Guangzhou trading group, as the "host", has made significant improvements in four key areas: the number of participating enterprises, high-tech enterprises, new products and designs, and industry clusters. The exhibiting enterprises, representing "Guangzhou high-quality products", are well-prepared and confident in their efforts to expand into international markets.
First, the number of exhibiting enterprises has reached a historical high. This year, there are 907 enterprises from the Guangzhou trading group participating in the Canton Fair, securing a total of 2,587 exhibition booths, which includes 596 brand booths and 1,991 general booths.
Second, the proportion of new quality productive forces enterprises has reached a historical high. The international engagement of Guangzhou's new-quality productive forces enterprises has gradually increased, with 336 of these enterprises participating in this year's Canton Fair, representing a year-on-year growth of 6.6%. The number of booths for these enterprises has also increased by 120, a rise of 4.7% compared to the previous year. Among them, there are four enterprises that are manufacturing single champions, five are national high-tech enterprises, and 15 are specialized and sophisticated small and medium enterprises.
Third, the new concepts and products presented are refreshing and innovative. Over a hundred enterprises will showcase more than 200 new products at this year's Canton Fair.
Fourth, the industry cluster exhibition areas are refreshing and innovative. This year, the Canton Fair will utilize high-traffic areas within the venue, such as the North Platform in Area A, the Pearl River promenade, and the central skybridge, to showcase industry clusters focusing on creative design, foreign trade bases, and more. The Baiyun District has set up a 405-square-meter display area primarily featuring cosmetics, luggage, clothing, and other products. The Huangpu District has a 72-square-meter exhibition area dedicated to the Guangzhou Biopharmaceutical Foreign Trade Transformation and Upgrading Base, showcasing medical testing instruments, in vitro diagnostic reagents, pharmaceuticals, and more. The Nansha District has a 36-square-meter design exhibition area, focusing on clothing, industrial machinery, and other items.
