The "China 1921" Symphonic Fantasia for Orchestra, a large-scale symphonic work commissioned by the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra (GSO) and created by famous Guangdong composer Li Haiying, will be staged at the 2022 Ersha Island Outdoor Concert Season in the latter part of this year.
There will be some non-profit performances of this symphonic piece both online and offline in the following period. It will also be presented in other cities in Guangdong and other provinces nationwide.

On June 30, 2021, the "China 1921" Symphonic Fantasia for Orchestra made its global debut online through a lot of platforms in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Later on, it was presented in various cities in the Guangdong- Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, such as Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhuhai and Huizhou.

The symphonic work has been selected and funded by the China National Arts Fund 2022, as one of the four symphonic creations that have won this year's fund.
2022 also marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of the GSO. In September, GSO will release a collection album, covering its works created from 2003 to 2022, with the "China 1921" Concerts being included.
