Mobilization meeting for reception work of Fortune Global Forum heldA mobilization and training meeting for the guests reception of the 2017 Fortune Global Forum was held at the Guangzhou Municipal Government Auditorium on November 26. The forum will take place in Guangzhou from December 6 to 8.   Liu Baochun, associate director of the executive committee of the forum, briefed attendees on the preparation for the reception work. He said that by November 23, 763 guests and 388 enterprises, including 152 Fortune Global 500 companies, had confirmed that they would attend the event. Those numbers are a record high for the forum.    Ten reception groups with specific responsibilities and four security groups have been set up to ensure the reception work meets international standards and domestic conditions, according to Chen Jie, associate director of the executive committee of the forum.    Cai Chaolin, director of the executive committee, stated that the guest impressions of Guangzhou have direct influence on the result of the forum and the city’s reputation, so staff and institutions at all levels must strictly follow the requirements of the reception work.
