GZMA recently launched an online solicitation event for old photos and photographs about the museum, calling for the public to share their memories about the museum.(Photo provided to Newsgd.com)Located at the foot of Baiyun Mountain and beside Luhu Lake, GZMA is a national key art museum and first-level museum. It developed from the Guangzhou Art Museum established in 1957 and opened to the public in 2000. There are 19 exhibition halls in the museum, focusing on collecting, studying, displaying and promoting of calligraphy and painting works and other artworks. In addition, the atrium garden offers a pleasant view in all seasons, attracting many residents to feed pigeons and koi.(Photo provided to Newsgd.com)The museum will move to the new Guangzhou Art Museum on Yizhou Road in Haizhu District in 2023. Therefore, GZMA launched the solicitation for the remembrance of "GZMA stories" before the relocation.
